General Articles

Here's a list of general articles, when considering a Master's in Finance:

My opinion is solely based on Europe and European Masters in Finance. The European Job Market is not like the American or Asian Job Market, because the spread among bottom and top universities is much less and HR Manager don't care as much about where you went to school.

Many European Masters in Finance are subsidised by governments in countries like Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Italy and many more. Since text books and curricula of Finance Masters don't differ a lot, you get basically the same quality at a public university as at private universities. So why should you spend thousands of Euros when you can get high quality masters in finance for a cheap price or even for free? The most common answer to that question is "prestige". You want to attend a top target university, because you believe that reputation and the brand will help you to get top jobs. However, this is more of a myth than reality.
